I took this photo in the living room of my house. I’m a self taught photographer so every photo is a surprise to me as much as it is to you!Time
This is probably one of my favourite pictures. I woke up and came downstairs for some breakfast and I saw my dog relaxing in the sun, and creativity struck.Lighting
I wanted this image to be serene and peaceful, so I used natural lighting from my window to make the picture look natural and realistic. It isn’t edited or photoshopped or anything of the likes. This is just a peaceful puppy pic!Equipment
This was shot on a Canon T6 Rebel with the Close-Up option chosen. I used a 19-26mm lens with no flash.Inspiration
I was looking for a way to take a picture of my dog that wasn’t like all the other pictures that have already been taken, and I realized that most of those other pictures had been edited to look better. My inspiration was to make a photo that was all natural and that wasn’t strayed from the original image.Editing
As I have stated before, this is an all natural image of a peaceful dog enjoying a warm summer afternoon , laying in her favourite paw print doggy bed.In my camera bag
The first thing I pack is my Canon T6 Rebel camera. I never leave the house without it nowadays. I always have a portable charger with me so I can charge it on the go. I then pack my 15-26mm lens and my 70-96mm lens. These lenses are honestly magnificent. A baby chimp could take a good picture with that, and since i am much more evolved, the potential of a perfect picture only grows!Feedback
My main point of advice that I could give to any photographer is have patience. If you rush a picture it will never be exactly how you imagined it. Take your time and get the right angle and when you feel that you are holding the perfect picture in your hands, that is when you click and savour that moment forever.
