Location
This photo was taken in the place called Glencoe located in Scotland. This is beautiful place with a lot of stunning views.Time
I remember this day very well. I woke up around 3 in the morning and drive around 2 hours to reach the place I was looking for. It was cold morning and really quiet, with the first light the sky came alive and I just waited for the best moment to capture this photoLighting
I just wanted to get photo with reflection and some drama in the sky. I think I achieved this.Equipment
For this photo I think I used Nikon D810 or D610 dont remember allready ;). The lens was Nikkor 16-35 f4. Tripod helped me as well to get sharp photo. No filters were used.Inspiration
I don't really have answer to this question. I have been in this place many times and in my mind I allready knew what I want to achieve next time I visit this place.Editing
In this image I haven't done a lot of post processing. Just cleaned out photo from small things that I didn't like it the foreground. Added some contrast and drought out some colours of sky and reflection. For final stage added some vignette on the sides to bring viewers in the middle of the frame. That's itIn my camera bag
I don't have a lot. Camera Nikon D810. For my landscape photography I usually have 16-35 f4 and 24-70mm 2.8 lens. For portrature I use 105mm2.8 and 50mm1.8 lens. Additional equipment is tripod, reflector and flash.Feedback
Just take your time , with landscape photography sometimes you need to wait for the perfect moment to capture all the beauty of the place. By this I mean light , clouds and weather of course. Patience is a key for perfect picture.
