A FABB-SHOT. I,m also looking at the right -hand side of the composition which appears to look like the outline of a seabird with the surfer in its beak! I,d have liked to have seen it

This is one of the finest surfing images I have seen anywhere!!! The surfers path, The offshore breeze, The curl of the breaking wave, The size of the wave, all come together in perfect Harmony!!!

Location
PEAHI (JAWS) From the cliff overlooking the beautiful surf. Maui, HawaiiTime
This one was shot on one of the days that you need to get up really early to be there to find a spot to set up. Mid Morning at about 11:00 amLighting
This Photograph is all-natural light.Equipment
The camera was a Canon EOS 7D Mark II, The Lens Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM + 2x. Wimberley Gimbal Tripod Head II with Quick Release Base. And a Gitzo G1500 Tripod.Inspiration
Anyone that ever gets the time and can be in a place like this does not need to be inspired if you love photography. Make sure you have your gear ready, Extra “memory cards”, Extra “batteries”, Water or a nice cold drink. And lastly a good Beach Chair.Editing
This was shot as a JPG. Color and contrast in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EOS 7D Mark II, Canon EOS 7D, GoPro 7, Lens: Canon 200 mm f/1.8, Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS, Canon Zoom EF 70-200mm f/2.8L, Canon Zoom Ef 24-105mm f/4L, Tokina Macro 100 f/2.8, Tripods Gitzo G1500 with a Wimberley Gimbal Tripod Head II, MeFOTO GlobeTrotter Carbon Fiber tripod.Feedback
Have lots of patients and good luck. A lot of it is being in the right place at the right time. Have your camera with you at all times. When you are traveling take the time to stop and enjoy nature.
