Behind The Lens

Location

I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Every Sunday I go to the feira, sort of an outside farmers market. The picture was taken at the flower vendor's stand.

Time

Between noon and 1 pm.

Lighting

Frankly all I can say is that winter light in Rio on a sunny afternoon is almost perfect.

Equipment

I use the camera of my cellphone. Its a Motorola.

Inspiration

My wife asked me to buy flowers and I took picture to send to her to see if she liked them.

Editing

I have an editing APP , there is "punch option" that brings out the colors. I rarely use it but this time it worked.

In my camera bag

Just my cellphone with a camera and a good eye for composition. I used to be an analog bug but it was too much weight to carry. My digital cameras were stolen twice and I gave up.

Feedback

Trust your instinct, take several pics at different angles and play with it. I love taking pictures....
