Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at my home in New York. I am a self taught photographer. This was one of my first photos taken with my Nikon D5300

Time

It was taken in the early evening so probably around 5pm.

Lighting

Not really.

Equipment

This photo was taken with my Nikon D5300 with a 18-55mm lens. Oh an my cat Minnie ;)

Inspiration

Honestly? It was pure excitement using the camera for the first time. I had to photograph everything I saw. My cat being one of this things!

Editing

I altered the color to B&W with the exception of color selection in the eyes. I altered the contrast and clarity with Lightroom.

In my camera bag

Inside my LowePro SlingShot bag I always carry my Nikon D5300 camera. I also have a Nikkor 55-200 lens that I like to photograph wildlife with. Gets you close without getting to close. I also keep two batteries handy and 2x32gb SD. Other than that it's just me for now.
