Location
This photo was taken in my garden in the Spring.Time
This was early one Spring morning around 9 am.Lighting
The time of day supplied the lighting, no flash was used.Equipment
Canon 5d with Tokina Macro lens.100mm f/2.8Inspiration
The vast array of tulips we welcome every year had all started to open and I noticed this fly sitting bathed in it's vibrant yellow colour. I thought about the stark contrast between the flower which we all love and the fly which is not thought of as a thing of beauty. I liked the juxtaposition of the image.Editing
No just a small crop.In my camera bag
I usually carry a Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM and tripod, along with the macro and spare batteries, film cards.Feedback
Just go and look, you dont have to go far. This shot was two yards from my back door. Look into every flower, you will be suprised what is sitting there.
