The sun was bright, the water was dark black & brown The flower stood out .Equipment
Canon EOS 30D 200mm/ƒ/8/1/320s/ISO 400Inspiration
The flower is beautiful to look at, but at times there is a prices that comes with it . The danger of how deep the pond is to get there. So I figured that the flower couldn't be more than 150mm to 200mm I switched lens 18 to 200mm to get that shot.Editing
Darken the background .More light on the flowerIn my camera bag
I'm a poor man working on getting Canon 5d mark3 I carry EOS 30D and EOS1000D I'm happy with what I have.Feedback
I'm a photography wannabee. I don't have expensive gear. For small and cheap without the big cost of lens . Most Canons come with a standard 18 to 55 mm lens switched to flower the icon on your Canon also switched to manual (means focus the lens yourself) Not only good for flowers also spiders and other insects.
