Behind The Lens

Location

Photographed in my studio in Oceanside, California

Time

Time of day is irrelevant as I used a strobe unit.

Lighting

I used rime lighting to highlight the model's body features.

Equipment

A Canon 5d, 24-105 Canon lens, and I used an Alien Bee 600ws single flash head

Inspiration

I love the physiology of females and love to accentuate the human body. My favorite photographer is the late Lucien Clerque.

Editing

I always shoot in color and convert to black and white either in Photoshop or Smart Editor.

In my camera bag

It depends. I most often carry a Canon 5dsr, 24mm Canon lens, 24-105 Canon lens, occasionally a 400mm Canon

Feedback

I have a rule when shooting nudes: I never touch them and I always have a female assistant present to preserve the model's security and safety.
