Taken in heavy shade on a bright sunny beach. Lit with a remote flash covered with yellow cellophane.. Not ideal but this was the only chance I had to take this lady. She is a genuine West African princess. Camera was a Mamiya 645 with 80mm lens..Part of a series.

That photo was taken a few years ago. Now I have a Nikon D5300, two lenses:-Nikon DX VR 18-55mm and a Nikon 55-200mm. .I also carry a Neewer speedlite 750. I also carry spare batteries and a charger Finally I carry a polarising filter and a cofiltersllection of colour filters.Feedback
Always prepare the scene first without the model. Get to know your surroundings and lighting well. When your model is on scene do not allow them to pose, Keep them moving and talking all the time. Take frequent rests as modelling is tiring. Keep praising the model to give confidence. Make them believe they are an important part of the project,
