Location
I took the photo at the Miramar Airshow in San Diego, Ca. In September of 2016 the airshow was happening, even though the clouds were out and we even had to run from the rain a few times during the show.Time
The photo was taken between rain storms in the mid afternoon. It was about 2pm, during the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) demo. As the Marines were demonstrating an attack on a imaginary enemy, all of a sudden these guys came screaming in on Helo's, the landed and put a great display of Marines in attack mode.Lighting
As far as lighting goes, all of this was natural lighting and because it was cloudy.Equipment
I shot this on a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi, Lens was EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6. Focal Length 190mm at shutter 1/4000. No Tripod and No flash.Inspiration
This is a photo of a military training exercise called Special Patrol Insertion/Extraction, aka SPIE rigging. I was in the Marines for 7 years and really enjoy capturing the photos of these guys training!Editing
I use Lightroom for post-processing. Nothing special about the post-processing though. In my camera bag

Use your passion, to figure out what to capture. When you understand and appreciate what you are looking at and know when to press the shutter you will always take great photos!
