Location
I was a cool autumn day in Brooklyn NY. I was walking through Prospect Park on my way to do my volunteer time with GallopNYC.org. we stopped and looked at each other at the same time. I waited for him to smile or wave but he didn't.Time
It was around 9:30 in the morning.Lighting
I prefer to shoot outside using natural light. Nothing special about it other than its a natural lighting though when the sun is out there are shadows. So I shoot early or an hour before the sun begins to set.Equipment
I used my Canon.Inspiration
I was inspired by him stopping to watch me watch him. In New York many of the squirrels are people friendly because so many tourist feed them nuts from the street vendors. Squirrels will walk up to you and take a nut from your hand.Editing
No post processing beyond editing the brightness and contrast if at all.In my camera bag
2 Point and shoots; my Olympus and my Fuji as well as my Canon with 4 lens, my tripod and 2 filters.Feedback
Take your time when shooting. If something looks good to you shoot it. Do not force a shot.
