Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken on the foreshore at Raby Bay Qld Australia.

Time

An early morning photoshoot, taken around 7am. I have always wanted to be able to capture an image that reflects the connection between young girls and follows through to the older years. The innocence to the beauty, no matter what size the horse.

Inspiration

My love for horses! I have been "horse mad" since I was a kid. And now being over 50, nothing has changed. I have two miniature horses, who we adore! There is something "Magical" about a horse, there strength, yet they can be so gentle. Intuitive, beautiful, proud animals.

Editing

Yes, I've added some brushes in photoshop and use lightroom to create the look and style.

In my camera bag

D700 & D7000 - 2 x flashes, 70 - 2000mm & 24 -70mm lens, plus the good old nifty 50mm.
