This was a planned composite made up of a sky I photographed for my own stock collection. The subjects were all photographed in my studio over a 4 hour period.Time
Being a composite and photographing the subjects in the studio meant that the time of day was irrelevant as I used studio lighting to mimik the outdoor lighting I required.Lighting
I use Jinbei studio strobes and modifiers. The set up for this image was to create a dynamic shot of each of the subjects. This was achieved by positioning a beauty dish 45 degrees above pointing down onto each subject individually. The rest of the lighting was set up to create a soft wrap around look.Equipment
I used a Canon 5diii, a 24-70 2.8Lii and a Manfrotto Tripod. I also tether using my Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 and Tether Tools equipment.Inspiration
The band STAND is short for "See Things Are Now Different". This image was created as cover art to visually portray the band's title and also to show a break away from being bound and restricted musically to complete freedom.Editing
I use Photoshop and Lightroom to composite all my elements together. This image took around 10 hours in post production bringing every element together seamlessly (including the different reflection). I edit using a EIZO 27 inch Monitor and print this image on Canson Baryta or PlatineIn my camera bag

I have a lot to share! There is so much involved in creating a piece like this. I do have a YouTube channel, tutorials on my website and run workshops. www.storyart.com.au
