This photo was taken at my home, I almost never make a selfie or a self-portrait, so I decided that my brother push the obturator and the rest were retouches of light to achieve the effect I wanted.Time
It was around 14:00 or 15:00 hours. I went out to the barber and wanted to leave a memory of the big beard that I had, so why not take a good picture and keep that memory?Lighting
I took advantage of the natural light of day because there is a big window at my house. The light of day is warm, but it provides the softness that many photographers seek.Equipment
Sony DSC-H9 super SteadyShot with 15x Optical ZoomInspiration
There is many photographers that I follow like Maja Topcagic, Irma Kanova or Oleg Gekman, they greatly influence the way I see the portraits, but in this case I just wanted to keep a memory of myself.Editing
The light of day is warm, so I modified the temperature, the background and white balance in photoshop and then I added that filter in front to give strength to the image. In my camera bag
Only 2 cameras for now. Sony DSC-H9 super SteadyShot with 15x Optical Zoom and Canon EOS REBEL T3i with an EF 18-55 mm lens.Feedback
We must take advantage of daylight coming through a window and post-processing tricks, although my ideal is that a photograph does not have to be post-processed, it's interesting to learn tricks in photoshop or lightroom that can give that unique touch we are looking for in each photo. Seek creative ways to see what we're used to seeing.
