Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in a very nice mountain village (in the Carpathians Mountains)called Ciocanu, Arges county, Romania.

Time

It was taken early in the morning in a summer day.

Lighting

Natural early morning summer light.

Equipment

I used the following gear: - camera: Olympus E-620 - lens: Zuiko Digital 50-200 mm f2.8-3.5 SWD - converter: EC-14 (1.4x)

Inspiration

Tee light was just perfect and the bird was perching in a nice position.

Editing

The picture was post-processed using Adobe Photoshop (crop, resize, brigtness/contrast adjustments, sharp).

In my camera bag

I take mainly wildlife images and I use Olympus gear: E-520 and E-620, Zuiko G Digital 50-200 mm f2.8-3.5 SWD, EC-14 and EC-20. During the summer I also take with me my macro lens: Zuiko Digital 50 mm f2.

Feedback

I took the image from a car, using the frame of the window to help the stabilization system of the camera. Many of my wildlife pictures are taken from car. Usually the birds are no very shy when you try to approach them with a car.
