Obviously lived in with new shingles, fairly fresh paint, blinds in the windows, and the remains of tomato plants in their cages, the occupants hurriedly escaped with salvageable possessions, leaving the ‘Two Blue Bungalows’ behind with door open to greet the cold, rising flood waters.
‘Two Blue Bungalows’ was photographed in March of 2008, during peak flooding of the Meramec River in Fenton, Missouri.
