Now this just goes to prove that it's not just the equipment you're using. I don't think I'd be able to achieve this on my 600D! Fair play.....well done to you :)

Behind The Lens

Location

My photo were taken in Kura kura beach, located at Bengkayang, West Kalimantan. It's about 3-4 hours to get in here from Pontianak, the Capital City of Province West Kalimantan.

Time

It's about before sunset time, Photo-enthusiast called it golden hours for landscape photography

Lighting

In landscape photograpy, more photographer usually took it with an available light, so I am, I use the available light for this picture with long exposure to create an epic landscape photography

Equipment

This was shot by Canon EOS 550D, Tokina Lens with 12-24 Focal length. For sturdy stand in a windy beach, i support my camera with Takara tripod (uhmm, i've forgot the series, sorry). No flash intended, in order to catch a beautiful light of sunset.

Inspiration

Nature, i always love nature especially a beach. Sunset will always looks great

Editing

I always shot my photo in RAW for better post processing, more option available behind the RAW. I've shot 5 pictures in a different exposure and combine it as one photos for high dynamic range image.

In my camera bag

i just have a Canon EOS 550D, Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II I've ever had Tokina 12-24 lens but I've sold it out

Feedback

No matter what your gear, cheap or expensive, it could take some beautifull shot if you know a lot how to maximize its. Using a sturdy strength tripod, ultra wide angle lens and wait until the nature show its beauty. Patient is a key, never give up if your shot were far away from your expectation, practice makes perfect.
