I took this photo while attending a workshop at my local photography clubTime
The class was in the evening but for stop motion shots like this any time of day works as long as you have a dark room and some flashesLighting
Invest in some good fast speed lights, they make a huge difference and will overall improve your high speed photography and portrait's as wellEquipment
For this shot I used a Canon EOS Rebel XT with a 28-135mm lens and 3 canon 580EX ii speed lightsInspiration
I am always inspired to take photos and this was my first attempt at doing some high speed shots like this so it was both a learning curve and inspiration at the same timeEditing
I try to keep my photos as original as possible but I do also like to play with the sliders in Lightroom because you never know if something beautiful will become of one of the photos I am editingIn my camera bag
Right now I use a Canon 5D MKii with a 24-105L and my other lenses I take with me are my sigma 85mm F1.4, Canon 100-400 F4 and a Canon 8-15mm F4 For my travel/street shots I use a Fujifilm x100T For flashes I use a Canon 580exii and my tripod is a Carbon Fiber Manfroto with a ball headFeedback
Have Fun, Don't be disappointed if you don't capture it perfectly and learn from your mistakes. Photography is art and you the artist take photos in your very own unique way. So don't try to copy another photographer, get inspired by them and be yourself
