I barely remember but I think i took this photo in the botanic gardens in Dublin Ireland in the summer a few years back taking with a nikon camera before digital cameras came outTime
it would have been in the morning on a saturday or sunday during the summerLighting
I perfer to use natural lighting I hardly ever use the flash on any camera Ive used or will use as I always do alot of my photography outdoorsEquipment
nikon f55 camera with a nikon af nikkor 70-300mm lens using film before digital arrived on the scene I rarely use a tripod as a lot of my photos are taking with a steady handInspiration
not sure what inspired me like most photographers I was in the right spot at the right time to take this photoEditing
no this photo is 100% original like the rest of the photos on my page I have never used photo shop on any off the photos you see on my pageIn my camera bag
i normally just have my fineplex hs10 with a 720 mm lens attached to the camera itself which I find is all I need at the momentFeedback
I find robins are very easy to photograph as they allow you to get close to them so if you want to photograph nature robins are a good place to start or go to your local park and photograph mallards, swans or herons or for example if you have foxes that come to your garden start feeding them and eventually you could get a good photograph as they will learn to trust you to get close enough from a distance to photograph them I did when I worked for the Dublin S.P.C.A as i fed a fox dog food for a few weeks as i did this the fox new he or she was geeting free food which allowed me to get a photo of that fox close up from a few feet away but most of all you dont have to leave the city you could also check your front of back garden as you have nature alreay there to photograph all you need do is look this could be from snails, butterflies to birds if you want to photograph a butterfly dont put them in the shade of your shadow as buutterlies are cold blooded and they need the sun to warm their bodies and will fly off to where the sun is so if you want to photograph a butterfly dont block the sun from them
