The photo was taken in a home studio, which I build outside the house to get more natural light.Time
This picture was taken on March 22, 2014, at 3:07 PM. Day was cloudy but I wanted a touch of natural light so build a small studio outside the house in the terraceLighting
Just natural light was used, no more and no lessEquipment
This was a shot on Canon 60D, with an 18-200 mm lensInspiration
I was working on my stock pictures just before the Easter, you know - typical selling stuff like dyed and natural eggs on the grass among flowers. But then it hit me - why everybody dyeing just boiled eggs, I want to dye a raw one! So I took gouache and started to fool around till I got a total color splash. After a few shots, I added paintbrushes and shells to fulfill the image. I was excited like a kid after, and wanted to show my work to all the planet!(the feeling is similar when you are in love and want to shout about it like a fool). So happy fool I was.Editing
Just a slight touch of Lightroom tools were needed to increase contrast and show off the colors as I am trying to do my best BEFORE the shot, not AFTERIn my camera bag
I have Canon 60D, plus two lenses: universal one 18-200mm and a sweet tiny 55 mm for magic portraitsFeedback
You dont need to create "something similar". You should watch all those beautiful pictures here on viewbug just because you should want to create "something different". I always remember a good advice on being creative - think about the ideas you want to show - write them down. Those first twenty ideas on your list - DELETE. What comes after - accomplish it. And better NOW, because later may never come.
