Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture on a cold spring morning in a park in the centre of Ipswich Town, Suffolk UK.

Time

About 8:30 in the morning.

Lighting

The lighting was perfect for a cold crisp spring morning and where the robin was sitting on the fence the sunlight was enchanting as the the robin sing his love song!

Equipment

The camera was a LUMIX G2 and the lens was a Panasonic 100-300mm f4 lens

Inspiration

I love Spring where everything is coming alive, the birds flitten here and there with the beautiful songs filling the air!! Flowers staring to bloom reminding me that life is starting on another cycle!

Editing

No just changed it from RAW to JPEG

In my camera bag

I have a new camera an Olympus OM-D EM-1, Olympus Macro 60mm f2.8, Lumix 20mm f1.8 lens, Olympus Pro 40-150mm f2.8 lens

Feedback

You need to know your birds and there habits they have! Robins are very nortoriuis for being terrortorial so it's advisable to get yourself blend into the trees and surrounding areas! Sometimes you can't so very slow movement as not to spook them! Early mornings are the best time as they are all busy busy busy!
