Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at an abandoned building in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Time

This was taken mid-afternoon. Around 2-3pm.

Lighting

This day, it was very sunny. No clouds in the sky. I don’t normally shoot in direct sunlight but it gave the photos a more summery vibe.

Equipment

This was shot on a canon 4000D with a 50mm lens.

Inspiration

I held a content day for local models. The theme was “trentchcoat editorial” but we only had 2 models show up so we made it more western/Django style.

Editing

Yes! So again this was meant to be a content day with several models in the theme of “trench coat editorial”. The only 2 models to show up had more of a western style going so we just ran with it!

In my camera bag

I have a pretty basic camera, a canon 4000d. I keep a 50mm lens at all times and several others (always at least one zoom lens). A reflector is a must, flash and a speaker because who doesn’t love music?

Feedback

Have an open mind and stay flexible. These shots are completely different than what I was expecting to shoot but I stayed open-minded and had fun and got some amazing shots!
