Epic Puddles Photo Contest Winners
Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best photos showing puddles in the Epic Puddles Photo Contest with chances to win a 50mm Lens and more!
A special thanks to our friend and professional photographer Laura Zalenga for her collaboration as a guest judge in this photo contest. Laura is a 1990 born self-taught [self-]portrait-artist from Southern Germany. Besides photographing projects she teaches workshops, gives inspirational talks and travels all over the world – always on the hunt for magical places and special light. It’s her clear visual language, the power of telling stories and showing raw, honest emotions in her photographs that makes her work stand out. She is convinced that photography is a type of therapy that gives you the ability to heal yourself and others.
"Less is more! the reflection is killer! which immediately made me think: i would have loved to see the photo upside down and maybe even cut of the real horse so only the legs are still visible. i know we have seen upside down puddle pictures very often but here it would almost create a little riddle. Give the viewer something to think about! Make him/her want to look at the photo longer than a split second. " - Laura Zalenga
