Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my garden.

Time

In spring and summer I start my day with a walk through my garden looking for bees, bugs, spiders and other small insects.

Lighting

I love naturally light and do not use a flash.

Equipment

I use a Lumix G9 and my favorite Macro Lens Leica 2,8/45 mm

Inspiration

I want to show the beauty of small things, and try to do it as minimalist as possible, so that the eye is not distracted. And I like strong contrasts, as here by yellow and green.

Editing

I increased the contrast and brightness a little. And have "cropped" the image a little.

In my camera bag

My Lumix G9, my macro lens and an Olympos Zoom 18-200mm is always with me.

Feedback

Walk through the world with open eyes and pay attention to the little things. A steady hand (I rarely use a tripod) and a lot of patience when photographing insects
