Location
This photo was taken from a lookout at the Fundy National Park in New Brunswick (Canada). You can see the mouth of the Upper Salmon River, near a small village called Alma, flowing into Bay of Fundy. If you look carefully you can actually make out a group of tourists walking the river bed during low tide.Time
This photo was taken early summer just before noon time. We were out for a hike and came across this stunning view of the Bay of Funday at low tides.Lighting
The weather was perfect with no rain in the forecast with a mix of sun and cloud. And the fog was just rolling off the cliffs from the other side. So the lighting was all natural sunlight.Equipment
I wasn't planning to take any photos and simply enjoy a nice hike with the family. So at the time I only had my FUJIFILM FinePix S5200 camera when I took this shot.Inspiration
I really was taken by the simplistic beauty of this scenery overlooking the Bay of Fundy at low tides, with the fog rolling off the cliffs from the other side. It was simply perfect timing.Editing
No post editing was needed for this shot.In my camera bag
I had my FUJIFILM FinePix S520 camera with me at the time.Feedback
I find, for myself at least, the best or memorable photos are the ones that you did not "plan" to take but rather stumble across. So always bring a camera or smart phone with you, because you never know!
