Location
This was taken at a local National Trust property, Charlecote Park which is also a deer park.Time
This was a Saturday morning.Lighting
Lighting was overall good, sunny with some cloud so the light was changeable at times.Equipment
Nikon D7500, with a Tamron 90mm Macro Lense hand held.Inspiration
I live the chance to capture butterflies in the summer, such stunning colours and not so easy to get them to stay still whilst you compose your image and get the focus right.Editing
This was edited in Lightroom, to enhance the exposure and sharpen. In my camera bag
Two Cameras, one with a long lense and one with a macro lense when out looking for butterflies. Spare batteries, and a tripod.Feedback
Be patient, and sometimes if the butterflies won't stay still for you move to a long lense and photograph them from a distance. A close up Macro shot is great, but you have to work with the butterflies and decide which option is best to get you the shot. You can also, crop the image in processing.
