Behind The Lens
Location
I took this phot at Twycross zoo, Warwickshire, UK. It was a difficult photo as the subject was behind a glass screen.Time
It was taken mid-afternoon, so the lighting wasn't great and there was a glare on the glass screen so finding an angle to shoot was quite difficult.Lighting
No. It was taken mid-afternoon so not the best time to shoot.Equipment
I used my Canon 750d with a tamron 16 - 300mm lens.Inspiration
I love all creatures, but I just loved the expression on his face. An opportunity not to be missed.Editing
I used Luminar 4 to edit the photo. I had to remove some glare that was on the glass screen between us, and improve the clarity, colour and dehaze a little. In my camera bag
I normally carry my Canon 50mm prime and a Tamron 16 - 300mm lens. I always have my Manfrotto travel tripos also.Feedback
Not really. I am an amateur photographer and believe in trial and error with my shots. Having said that, I am getting a little better these days knowing what settings to use. Take a photo, check it and readjust the settings if you're not happy with the shot!
