We went out for a fish and chip supper and we came back with some lovely images from Llyn Nantlle. This is another of my favourite locations in the Snowdonia National Park, The lake needs to be flat to enhance the image, in the winter when there is a dusting of snow on the peaks the image really comes alive.

Location

The photo was taken in Snowdonia, North Wales, UK.

Time

It was taken early evening. The light was fading but there was just enough time to fire off a few shots.

Lighting

The fading late afternoon light can be very pleasant and can make a difference to your image.

Equipment

Olympus OMD 1, mk2, with the 12-40 pro lens attached and hand held.

Inspiration

When the lake is flat the image can be stunning, you need to watch the weather and conditions before venturing out.

Editing

There was some post processing with Lightroom.
