This photo was taken in the italian mountains , I was with my family doing some trekkingTime
It was taken in first morning just few moment beofre the sun came out behind the mountainsLighting
As you can see the sunrays are creating a good contrast in the image. since there was a huge difference between light and shadow I decided to use the bracketing mode 'cause I wanted all the dynamic rainge in cameraEquipment
It was taken with a nikon D750 & tamron 24-70 f2.8 mounted on a rollei tripodInspiration
To be honest this image was not planned at all, I knew the place and my intention was to capture the autumn colors on the lake, I was "fooling around" to find a good spot and I was lucky because I found a perfect situation, I asked to my wife to move into the frame because I wanted a human figure filling the lower part of the imageEditing
Haveing a bracketing in camera I used photoshop with luminosity mask to unite all the pics I had , after day in camera raw I did the basics regulations , then in phtoshop again I tried to emphasize the imageIn my camera bag
Usually I always have with me 3 lenses because with the tripod and some gears ( like filters, remote command ecc.) my back pack il asways pretty heavy! the lens I have most of the times mounted on camera is my 24-70 f2.8 I halso have a 14-24 and a 70-200 I can say that normally for a landscape photographer all the focal range should be coveredFeedback
well mountains can offer many kind of situations so my first advice is to keep goin on exploring and find new spots , I also have always with me my tripod because even diring the day you may need it. sunrises and sunset are the best part of the day to shoot but nevertheless every part of the day can offer wonderful scenes
