Learn the behaviors of the wildlife you are taking pictures of. Some birds of prey are not comfortable around humans. It’s better to take a shot zoomed in from a distance away than scaring them off and not getting a shot at all. I like to camp out where I know they hunt and wait for them to come to me. They land a distance they are comfortable with and I don’t move any closer and scare them off
