Location
I don't recall the name of the town now, but it was in a small, once thriving, farming community in north-central Oregon. My husband and I were on our way from Montana to visit the Klamath Falls area.Time
It was mid-day, around 2:00 pm, although it may have been a little later.Lighting
It was mid-day, a bright, sunny day with no clouds. But the church was next to and amongst some trees so they were shading some parts of the church.Equipment
A Canon PowerShot SX HS530. I had recently gotten this camera when I took this photo and was still getting used to the camera. It was and still is the "fanciest" camera I'd ever had or used. It's been a great camera but I am hoping to upgrade soon.Inspiration
We were just driving down the road and had to reduce speed as we were passing through a little community. I happened to look over and see the church sitting back off in the trees behind some newer buildings. So I told my husband we had to pull over so I could take pictures of "that cool looking old church!"Editing
No, I had used a built-in filter on my camera to get this photo. In my camera bag
Just my camera. For now, hoping to upgrade to a newer camera soon with more equipment.Feedback
Just keep your eyes peeled for anything that looks cool! You'll never know where or when you'll stumble upon something great to take photos of.
