Location
I shot this photo in my favorite forest in the near of my home. I really love it to take long roads through the woods, enjoying the sun on my skin, listening to the sounds of life like chirping, rassling, moving, breathing.Time
I dont remember that well about the time, but in my mind, it's been afternoon at about 5:00 PM. The sun was definitely about to set down.Lighting
I wanted to give an romantic and dreamy touch to the image, because I am a very dreamy and visionary person on my own, so the image represents me in some kind of way. I am able to enjoy to essential things of life that do cost nothing, celebrating the feeling of freedom and the ability to go whereever I want to, or, as like in this case, starring and watching the sun going down, while the woods are going to be hooked in to a golden and warm lightbath. I think about phantastic places and worlds, stories and lifetopics in these moments, and literally drown into them.Equipment
To that time, I used a Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon EF 70 - 200mm 1:4, if I do remember right ( I also had a 2.8 later )Inspiration
see above at the lighting-details ;-)Editing
I additionally edited a simple fogging effect at myself to make the sunlight even more intense, than it has been before, and added shadows to the places where usually light does not come along. I also changed the color temperature to warm to introduce the viewer to be soaked up into the image. In my camera bag
Not that much, simply a Canon 5D Mark III and a 24 - 70mm 1:2.8, thats definitely enough for most of the situations.Feedback
