Your portraits are uniformly amazing. More than a picture, you catch their lives. The lighting is striking. Wish I could come close in my work. Thank you.

Location
This photo was taken on the roadside of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zyed St. In Al Ain, UAETime
This photo was taken before the sunset and I was lucky to have a very nice ambient light during that time.Lighting
It's pure ambient light and it's all about positioning my subject into the right spot to achieve the best result.Equipment
I used my nikon dslr camera and nikon lens af-p 70-300 ed vr in capturing this portraitInspiration
I am an outdoor photographer, and I really like capturing natural faces and expressions of people. The subject has a very intense eyes, and facial features that reflects decades of hardwork and wonderful experiences in life. He was also wearing "kufiya" a headdress of the middle eastern people. Not only that it reflects their culture and tradition, but also played an important role on how I composed the whole frame.Editing
Yes, I converted the original photo to bnw and added some vignetting to darken the background. I also increased the contrast for a more intense look.In my camera bag
I normally have my nikon dslr, a telephoto lens, a wide angle lens, a charged battery, and an extra sd card.Feedback
Do it in a very natural way as possible. Natural faces and expressions, natural lightings, and most importantly, the connection of the subject to the viewers. Always focus on the eyes and make sure that the subject is looking towards you.
