I took this photo (although you can’t tell) on an abandoned rail way line. Empty, overgrown places like that fascinate me and they’re honestly one of my favourite places to go.Time
This was taken in the middle of the day. It was honestly just a spontaneous shoot that wasn’t really planned. The lighting was absolutely perfect for it, so I feel like I chose the right time of day.Lighting
Honestly, I never thought anything about the lighting until I really looked at the photo. Like I said it was all spontaneous with no planning.Equipment
I used the canon 100D with no flash or tripod. I literally only used the camera and flour. Thats what the cloud like shape is in the photo.Inspiration
I have a odd obsession with adding a little extra to my photos. If that’s smoke bombs, flour, chalk etc. I’m just really fascinated by photos where there’s a little extra in and I feel like I added that extra.Editing
The only thing I had to do was upload it to a computer and edit it. I never had a computer at the time though so I had to travel to the library to see them.In my camera bag
Just my camera and whatever prop I’m using. In this instant my camera and the flour.Feedback
Just don’t go expecting everything to look amazing at first. It took a while to get this photo the way I wanted, without it looking sloppy and the model freaking out. Take your time and you’ll capture it amazing. Also make sure you have an extra person to throw the flour!
