Behind The Lens

Location

This image is another from our home living room in Salt Lake City.

Time

This image was shot after a 12 hour work day. I had been wanting to shoot but work had consumed all of my time. Just before dinner I said put on some make up let's shoot.

Lighting

Lighting makes every image what it is. I used to only rely on natural lighting but as of late I practice with strobe almost every shoot.

Equipment

Handheld shooting with a Canon 6D, Yongnuo flash and trigger using a Neewer rectangle soft box.

Inspiration

My fiancé is so talented at make up that any time I shoot I ask her to come up with something vibrant and different.

Editing

Brightened the reds, darkedend the blacks and adjusted the curves.

In my camera bag

My 6D and a handful of prime lenses.
