This photo was taken around 09:30 PM on a late July evening.Lighting
With Danube river in the foreground and the Budapest Castle in background, the chain bridge presented a glittering view.Equipment
Camera : Canon 500D Lens : Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM Tripod : Vanguard Espod 230 APInspiration
I was walking on the bank of Danube river to find a spot to take an image which will symbolise Budapest. Finally I found a spot to have Danube river in the foreground, the Budapest Castle in background and the magnificent Chain Bridge presenting itself as the symbol of Budapest. My friend's prior knowledge of Budapest of-course helped to find the perfect spot.Editing
I started with basic white balance, contrast and lens profile corrections in camera raw. After that I have worked on exposure correction using luminosity masks. I have also cleared the dust spots and worked on sharpness and details of the overall image. Finally I had to merge two images as the trail light of a passing boat created some distraction on the fore ground. In my camera bag

1) Use s sturdy tripod. 2) A prime lens will always provide better and sharper star effects from the lights. 3) Take multiple shots with different exposures.
