Thanks! He must have been hungry because I was standing pretty close with a 600 mm pointed at him; he looked straight down the lens a few times and then keep eating

Location
This photo was taken at a Creek/Park located in Chatham Ontario Canada. The Hawks nest there every year.Time
It was just a little after noon on a Sunday. I had gone to the creek thinking that I wouldn't be able to get many shots because the fledglings were getting a little older and had started taking their pray to the higher branches. I was happy when they didn't seem bothered by me being there. I try to give any of the wildlife I shoot proper respect and space. I judge my own behavior by their reaction or lack of reaction to me being there. If they are uncomfortable, I need to leave; and I do.Lighting
Not much to say on the lighting it was a sunny day and he was in the perfect spot.Equipment
Camera D810 with a Tamron 150 -600mm. No tripod (f/6.3 1/160 ISO400 FL600)Inspiration
I was standing taking pictures of one of the other fledglings and this one came and grabbed the pray then landed with it in the tree right beside me. I think he was trying to eat it all before his sibling came to take it back..... No need to worry though I think his sibling was in shock.Editing
No editing was needed I cropped it and smiled :)In my camera bag
I have my Nikon D810, Nikon D800, Tamron 150 - 600mm lens, Nikon 70 - 200mm lens and at least one wide angle lens with me. I never use a tripod when I'm shooting birds I like to have freedom to take the shot from different angles.Feedback
I was in the right place at the right time. I find the best shots with birds are always the ones I wasn't expecting. Like for this shot I knew the fledgling would probably be eating but I never imagined that one would do it right in front of me. I find that if a birds hanging around even though I'm moving and shooting sooner or later it will do something goofy.
