Location
This was taken in Nain, Labrador on a crisp clear evening.Time
I looked at the Aurora Forecast on the web and seen that the lights should be over my area around 7pm. I got my gear ready with my settings and drove my snowmobile out on the frozen Atlantic Ocean and waited for them to appear. I literally only had to wait 10 minutes.Lighting
The northern lights once they started were simply amazing and covered the northern skies. I was wishing I had 2 cameras.Equipment
Nikon D7000 and a tripod. Headlight to adjust my settings.Inspiration
I love the northern lights and anytime I can get the opportunity to see them as amazing as they were that night i simply jump on it.Editing
I took all raw photo's and simply had to do a little adjusting in lightroom. In my camera bag
I always carry a Nikon in my bag a a zoom and wide angle lens.Feedback
Headlights are essential and a good pair of gloves in order to adjust your settings as it can get pretty cold on the hands.
