Driftwood Beach Jekyll Island Ga. at low tide and sunrise when you get to see what is holding it in place. Only two days a month but eight days total for sunrise. Like Forrest Gump says " Life is like a box of chocolates, You never know what your going to get.". You arrive on the beach in pure dark, pick a tree set up, it may be cloudy or clear or start to rain but mostly no two days the same. If you can carry your gear fast you can get 10 or 20 trees every 10 to 15 minutes while the sun rises getting different light and clouds all the while. Best thing you'll be all by yourself running on the beach, would make a great video!!!

Absolutely beautiful. Great shot! I know it can be a challenge as I've tried my luck there.

This was a test shot while exploring the rest of the beach and getting low with my Voigtlander 12 mm the way it is suppose to be used to get that different perspective vs getting it all in! The sun has been up for an hour or so but down low it looks like maybe 15 minutes high.
