I love this woodland photograph. It was taken on a sunny Sunday afternoon dog walk, one of the last walks I took with my beloved pooch before he got put down, at Stoke Lyne woods in Oxfordshire.Time
This photograph was taken early afternoon before going home to a family Sunday roast dinner. I remember how the sun was at its peak in the sky, and peering down through the trees, over the peacful open pathway making me so glad that I had my camera with me that day!Lighting
The sunlight was forcing itself through the dense variety of trees, causing patterns of dark shadows and bright sunlit areas on the clear pathway through the beautiful woodland.Equipment
This was taken on my old Nikon camera, I am unsure of the model, no flash or tripod used.Inspiration
I rarely go out with a specific photo opportunity in mind, I let nature take its course and if it catches my eye, I turn the camera on! In this case the way the sunlight was casting itself through the curved tree lined made me grab my camera!Editing
I slightly adjusted the brightness and contrast of this image, but other than that it has been left untouched. In my camera bag
I just carry my camera around my neck and a bottle of water in my hand!Feedback
Capturing a perfect image, really is down to how you view a scene or object, anything is beautiful if you capture it at the right moment, in the right lighting and at the right moment!
