This image is one of a series I am currently working on. It is inspired by ancient myths and theories regarding the spiritual connections between humans and the nature that surrounds them. Each image features two ravens, referencing Huginn and Muninn ("Thought & Memory"), the ravens of Norse mythology, representing the personal journeys we go through in our own minds to discover ourselves on a deeper, almost intangible level.
"Ravens Hugin and Munin, of Thought and Memory,
Wing the wide world each day.
I fear for Thought yet he come not again,
But more for Memory I fear..."
-The Poetic Edda
