Location
This photo was taken in an older stone Gazebo, at night in a park in Spokane Valley Washington.Time
We started shooting just before sunset, and after 3 outfit changes and locations in the park, we ended up here.Lighting
Natural lighting, and the built in flash of my Canon Rebel EOS camera.Equipment
This particular photo was taken with the Canon Rebel T5, with only the built in flash and the 35mm lens.Inspiration
Lakota was contemplating modeling, and wanted to see how photogenic she was, and I really wanted the experience to be with a model that I was familiar with, for my first try at it.Editing
Just a little bit of cropping/ clarifying. In my camera bag
Since Lakota was my first real model experience, and being my first real camera purchase, the only thing I had in my bag at the time was the Canon Rebel T5, 35mm lens.Feedback
I really would have recommended a tripod, because it would have made it easier for night shots. But you live and learn, by making mistakes as an amateur. I have now upgraded to a Nikon D3500, a tripod, external flash, some studio lights, etc. My lenses have also evolved to a 70-300mm, 58mm wide telephoto, 35mm, and a 420-800mm telephoto.
