Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my home studio here in London Ontario. Newborn photography is my passion, and love it when I can capture such sinciere moments between mom and babe.

Time

It was a mid day shot and even after hours of posing and manipulating this little gem, she still managed to sleep through the shots with her momma.

Lighting

I really like to keep things simple, so just an off camera speed lite used here with a reflector camera right.

Equipment

Nikon D610, Nikor 50mm lens, off camera flash (Scott Robert Lim's Strobie 230 flash) camera right and a Neewer reflector camera right.

Inspiration

I have always loved the bond between momma a babe, which is why I do what i do. My favorite part of each Newborn session is the part where I get to photograph beautiful mamma's with their precious baby.

Editing

I use photoshop to clean up my images and add a little bit of a Matte Finish courtesy of Belleview Avenue actions :)

In my camera bag

I pack my bag pretty light, with my Nikon D750/50 mm, and maybe my lensbaby spark :)
