It was in the Okanagan Valley, north of Vernon, British Columbia. There is a cliff face there that was covered in ice. Some people were practicing ice climbing.Time

Try to get a close shot while still keeping the icy surroundings. Don't worry if the climber is not high up from the ground. Don't show the ground. I saw a magazine shot being taken and the subject was only a few feet higher up. Although show some bottom space and top space. More top space if you want to emphasize the amount to be climbed. More bottom to emphasize the amount already climbed
