Yesterday afternoon my friend and I started talking about possibly heading up to Mt. Rainier to do some night shooting. The weather called for clear and cold skies which is perfect for shots of the stars and the milky way. I had never really been up near Mt. Rainier before and wasn't really sure what to expect so I started to do some quick research on cool spots to see the mountain from. Lucky for us this spot right off of 410 was going to match up perfectly with the Milky Way from 9-11 so we decided to head out and try our luck. When we got there I set up a time lapse and let the thing go for a couple hours and this is one of the still frames from that time lapse.
