Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a day when the weather was bad and I was in the house sitting there staring at my camera wishing I could find something to shoot. Then, I began to wonder what I kind of cool stuff can I find in the house. As I took a sip of water I noticed a small air bubble near the rim of the glass....having the macro lens on the camera I panned over to it and thought ok lets see what this looks like and took this photo.

Time

Mid-day in the basement of my home

Lighting

The lighting was room lighting only, overhead fluorescent bulbs.

Equipment

Canon SL1, Lens Tamron 60mm Macro 1:1, NO flash, Hand held

Inspiration

Was searching for something cool to picture and test my new macro lens.

Editing

Post processing was very little, mainly in photo shop elements I opened up in camera raw and adjusted some contrast, and white balance with a little touch of shadow.

In my camera bag

Canon SL1, Body Tamron Macro 1:1 60 mm Tamron 18 to 270mm telephoto Canon EF 25mm Extension tube

Feedback
