So good, light, colours, pose... Because we read from left to right, we also see the image on same way. So I have a suggestion. Try to flip image horizontal. Will be nice if dancer facing in image not out from it... Only my opinion. As I said - great shot with great potential. I Wish you a beautiful day and marry Christmas.!

Location
one of the street in kuching, sarawak, malaysia, next to brooke dockyardTime
photo were shot on 29th July 2012 at 5.31pmLighting
its all natural light, i think there is a wall behind me that help to reflect light into the subject as the street is quite narrow.Equipment
photo were shot with a 5dmk2 and a 24-70L at iso200 f6.3 1/160 at 40mmInspiration
it was actually a fun shot without much preparation, we walk at the street i saw this wall and decided to ask her to pose for me and she definitely did wellEditing
yes, i added some contrast alot of cloning on the wall ( the red wall have alot of distracting white dots which are distracting ) skin cleaning, some dodging and burning and liquifying her dress to add some more movement. In my camera bag

i think dancer we choose for this kind of photography are very important, im lucky to have a ballet instructor friend to do this with me. if i have a team with me i definately will add some lighting and maybe a blowing machine to add some more movement to reduce the process in my post processing. as for the location, i was lucky as the location we choose to walk around have this wall, it was the color contrast of the wall that attracted me. i spend few hours in photoshop on this photo, i think if you really like a photo you shot, you should spend more time refining it. sorry for my bad english, thanks!
