Behind The Lens

Location

About 20 min outside of Windsor, Nova Scotia.

Time

~ 3-4PM

Lighting

Natural Light.

Equipment

Nikon D80; 18-55mm kit lens, tripod

Inspiration

I was driving a Mazda Miata at the time with the roof down. When pulled to the side of the road to put the roof up I looked across and noticed the bright green field and dark sky.

Editing

Was originally processed as a 3 image HDR for the sky, but the field and barn used the middle image to tone down the vibrancy of the field. This was applied to the HDR image with a layer mask in CS6.

In my camera bag

Nikon D300; Tamron 17-50mm; Nikon 50mm; Nikon 10-5mm Macro; SB700 and SB900 flashes; tripod.
