Behind The Lens

Location

I found this beautiful flower in the forest of Vaghai-Saptara, Gujarat, India. And it became a stupendous shot!

Time

Two years back, it was a very beautiful evening at forest where I clicked so many beautiful pictures and this shot is one of them.

Lighting

As it was evening, there was enough light for any good shot.

Equipment

Mobile phone camera! I used my phone: HTC One V's ordinary 5MP camera to click this picture.

Inspiration

Beauty of this flower and bright colors! I was enjoying the nature and expecting nice angles to capture some good pictures. Then I saw this beautiful flower in the corner and I found it very attractive because of its colors and design.

Editing

Yes I have adjusted the contrast as there are two different bright colors in the shot (green leaves and dark pink flower) and it made this shot much more perfect.

In my camera bag

I don't have any professional camera but my phone camera always helps me to take a perfect shot.

Feedback

According to me taking a good shot of a flower needs patience. Sometimes it happens that the shot of a flower blurs because of the continuous wind. But with little patience and by giving attention to details can give you a perfect shot eventually!
