Midday? can't quite remember.Lighting
I didn't really factor in the lighting, it wasn't a dark day, nor was it bright bright sunshine.Equipment
I improvised! I placed my camera on top of my rucksack to steady the staged photo. The camera was focused on the log and knew that that was from my rucksack. I set it to a high repetitive shutter and had to keep running back over the log to get my dog to run back toward my "position" after about the 5 attempt we got the finished photo. I am still really pleased with how it came out. Anybody can do this with a small amount of imagination!Inspiration
My dog's agility?Editing
Her ear was slightly off the edge of the photo, which meant that I had to copy/paste her other ear which was in the frame. You will only notice this now I've told you?In my camera bag

Just get your camera setup properly ie a fast shutter speed. practice with a few still single pictures before you execute the one you are aiming for. Do they look ok on the small rear screen? zoom in to check if the lines are sharp (focus) is the iso set correctly. black and white dogs can pose a problem in this respect. I think a high iso setting was used here.
